I'm still very new to Unity and making games in general. However, as I learn more I hope to continously add to and improve my very first game.
I really love cats so I wanted to make a game that's cat-themed.
The requirements for this assignment were to make a game where you have to catch falling objects while avoiding falling obstacles, so I thought a high-rise city was a fitting setting.
I chose steel beams as the obstacle because buildings are made from them and during construction, there's many at the very top of the building.

In our team of 5, I primarily designed the CSS for the web application's pages. My most notable work were the logo and Home, Catalog, and Cart pages.
I thoroughly enjoyed this project and was very eager to learn as I contributed to the best of my ability. It is unfortunate that prior to this, the only experience I had with our chosen technologies was Java. However, this encouraged me to utilize my artistic background and skills to design our website.
Throughout the website, I prioritized high visibility by using dark-colored text on a bright background as this maximizes contrast.
For the Home page, I wanted the customer to know the purpose of our website the moment they opened our page so I chose a background with a variety of produce. I wanted to showcase our four main product categories early-on so customers can quickly and easily find what they're looking for.
On the Cart and Catalog pages, I simplified the design so customers can focus on the product images and prices. I added a high-contrast hover design for the cards so customers can easily see and understand which product they have selected.
